Has anyone ever done something so horrible to you that "I'm sorry" couldn't fix it?

Agh, yes unfortunately, this has happened many times to me! Mainly with guys, but sometimes with girls.

Like there was this one guy i liked in like 8th-9th grade, his name was jake. He acted for a few weeks like he liked me, but then at a dance one night at school when everyone said that he was going to ask me out, he asked out my best friend, it was horrible! Latter he tried to come back and tell me that he was sorry, that he knew that i liked him and that he was flirting around with me, but it was only so he could find out more about my friend who he really liked. Then to beat all, my so called "best friend" told jake that she would go out with him. I didn't get over it until 6 months later. then we became good friends. But that wasn't the first time that that has happened.
